The Terra mountainbike can be ordered with Enduro, Trail or Race  geometry.

I exhibited a Forward Geometry bike with a long front-centre and slack head angle at this year's Handmade Bicycle Show 2021. I can of course build ANY geometry that makes sense to me.

Clearance for 27.5 x 2.6" or 29 x 2.4" tyres with a 1X Boost drivetrain. Thru axle rear dropouts are set for 148x12mm "Boost" width. Your frame can be constructed of Rugged, Race or Ultralight tubing according to your riding. A dropper post option with external or internal routing is available.

  • custom frame tube selection to suit you

  • thru axle in 148 x12mm Boost spacing

  • clearance for up to 2.6" width tyres in 27.5 or 2.4" in 29er with Boost drivetrain

  • standard 27.2mm seatpost sizing to take the edge off bumps with a desirable amount of flex.

  • 31.6mm post sizing for Larger riders and dropper posts. A  DKG brand seatpost clamp is supplied with the frame.

  • threaded 73mm or 86mm wide bottom bracket (BB) in the new large T47 standard or classic "English" BB format for quiet trouble-free operation, The larger T47  enables internal routing of cables when used with 24 or 30mm crank axles.

I use White Industries and Chris King headsets both of which are available in a range of colours as well as Black. White Industries machine their parts to use the excellent replaceable Enduro Bearings (click here for headset colours). Chris King built their reputation on making their own bearings which are serviceable. Depending on the fork, the Chris King headset is an approximate $100 upgrade.

Frames from $3990 with 12mm thru rear dropouts made with a tailored-to-you  selection of Columbus Zona and Life butted frame tubing.

Framesets from $5775 with RockShox Reba fork, White Industries headset and Shimano PRO Koryak stem paint-matched to the frame and PRO Koryak seatpost. Minus pedals and saddle. Fox forks are also available.

Complete Bikes, a complete bike similar to above, with dropper post, RockShox Reba fork and Shimano XT is approx $8400 minus pedals and saddle. A standard seastpost reduces this by $390. I am not able to quote on exotic parts but you are welcome to purchase them and supply them to me to incorporate in the build.

  • Dropper post-ready 31.6mm seatpost. Reinforced seat-tube 3D printed stainless-steel internal cable port adds $220.

  • Internal rear hydraulic brake cable routing exiting at rear brake caliper; 3D printed stainless-steel reinforced ports and T47 threaded BB shell $400 (requires use of T47 bottom-bracket bearings from White Industries, Chris King or equivalent),

  • adjustable Paragon "Rocker" dropouts in stainless-steel $270

  • S and S Travel Couplers; pack your bike in a Standard Airline suitcase $1420 (internal rear brake hose routing cannot be combined with this option).
