Cam's fillet-brazed Road frameCam broke his Ti road frame. He's a big guy, 120 kg (265 lb.) and about 6'3". This frame will give him a good run. I'm rapt to have his 2nd order, after making his 29er. Built with tandem worthy chainstays (that add only 60 grams un-mitred), the down and top tubes I'd usually use on a MTB and the same beefy TrueTemper .9/.6/1.0mm wall externally butted seat-tube I used on Ronasaur's Messenger Special, This is the design that will give him the trouble free riding he's after with a tubing selection that works well with his weight and riding style and that won't beat him up during long hours in the saddle. click on a thumbnail to view the image |
