I’ll develop the content on this page but here’s a start.
Stuck seatposts; can you remove the seatpost stuck in my nice frame? I can. No heat, no chemicals, no application of brute force ….. nasty corrosion is usually what’s happening between the post and the frame.
I start with a device to pull the post straight out of the frame, with no twisting. If that fails, I chop the top off the seatpost and carefully machine it away from the inside using a specially made precision tool. Then a few careful strokes of a metal-file, and it just slides out. All without damaging the frame.
Don’t clamp your seatpost in a vice and twist the frame, because you can damage the frame more easily than you’d think. Who better to look after your precious frame than a framebuilder?!
Get your frame to me and for $220 I’ll get you back on the road.
