Wayne's hub gear mountainbike

Wayne is one of the Melrose boys who back in the day, were nationally ranked mountainbike riders. He phoned from Norway where he now lives and put in an order for a heavy duty, hub geared mountainbike with stable handling like his old Stumpjumper ... and nice bits ...

He's a big, tall lad, so heavy duty frame tubes were selected, teamed with Blackcat Swinger dropouts, a Rohloff internally geared 14 speed hub in the red finish, and other bits in red to match. Painted in a current-model holden ute metallic blue. The hub gears are the go in the harsh conditions of Norway. Sweet!
