RONASAUR'S MESSENGER SPECIAL

A Messenger Special for Ronasaur, fillet-braze and clear powder-coated, made extra tough so he won't break it. With about 6 months expected out of the clear finish, these brass fillets will be getting a new coat.

Totally customised for Ron, a rugged working bike; built around tough Paragon rear fork-ends in 4140 cro-mo, oversize top & down tubes plus seat-stays from the Kaisei 022 .9/.6 tube kit, a stronger TrueTemper .9/.6 externally butted seat-tube, Reynolds tandem chainstays and an mtb-grade oversize TrueTemper head-tube.

The fork is oversize road, built around the new True-Temper road steerer, which is lighter and a little stiffer than a 1 inch steerer, with a lightweight lugged crown and Llewellyn cast fork tips. Clear powdercoated to show off the fillets, and built up by Ron with high-end parts all over.
