Justin's Commuter

Justin's commuter frame; a re-creation in TIG-welded lightweight custom steel of his previous frame that cracked at the seat-tube. Built without that frame's design weakness, of the same diameter 'double-oversize', top and down-tubes (31.7mm top-tube, 35mm down-tube) it will be solid and stiff, and at 100 grams less, more lively as well. A before and after weighing showed the powdercoat to weigh 52 grams......

A ride report...."It definitely feels like the torsional stiffness is better without causing a harsher ride as it gets to see it's fair share of blue stone action between Clifton Hill and Sth Melbs....."

Stainless faces will keep the rear fork-ends tidy; they're silver-soldered to Llewllyn's new track fork ends. The forward-facing seat-post clamp slot will keep water and muck out of the frame. Finished with black powdercoat finish, black decal........
